Accounts Payable Coordinator

As the Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will be responsible for various aspects of the payables process including invoice entry for goods and services (PO and Non-PO) tracking open purchase orders, reconciling vendor accounts and responding to payment status requests and related communications, among various other tasks.


Location: Support Center, 6600 S Bermuda Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89119

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm (onsite)

Pay: $24/hourly

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage high-volume invoice processing in a fast-paced environment
  • Three-way matching; Verify vendor invoices against purchase orders, receipts and contracts
  • Reconcile vendor statements.
  • Audit, input and verify invoices daily - review payable invoices for accuracy.
  • Code payable invoices with correct general ledger codes.
  • Handle customer service calls and emails from internal & external customers – research and resolve a variety of internal inquiries concerning account status updates.
  • Make appropriate invoice distribution entries to ensure accurate accounting of expenses – analyzing, researching, identifying and reconciling accounts for accuracy in accordance with company accounting rules.
  • Communicate with internal departments with timely and accurate information.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.


Job Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in retail/inventory related accounts payable
  • Vendor statement reconciliation expertise required
  • Purchase order matching and inventory issue resolution
  • Experience with Great Plains, Esker & APTOS a plus
  • Prior retail accounting experience a plus
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Exceptional integrity and ethics to maintain confidential information
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Sound judgement and the ability to make reasonable decisions in the absence of direction.
  • Efficient time management skills and the ability to complete tasks by deadline.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team independently.
  • Ability to enter data with consistent accuracy.
  • Able to adapt and remain positive during changes to processes and working conditions.
  • Strong, professional communication skills in listening, speaking, and writing necessary for communication with all levels of employees.
