Accounts Payable Coordinator

Come join our growing business! We are looking for a dynamic, energetic organized team member to join our team. Experience in a multi division organization is helpful.



  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable department.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments.
  • Maintain effective relationships with vendors and resolve any payment-related issues or discrepancies.
  • Supervise & oversee work conducted by overseas partners performing data entry & 3-way matching process for all merchandise related AP
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the AP function.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and review AP reports and metrics, providing insights to management on payment trends and outstanding liabilities.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial audits by providing necessary AP documentation and support.


  • Compliance and Controls:
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies, including segregation of duties and authorization protocols.
  • Monitor and manage the AP aging report and resolve any issues related to overdue or disputed invoices.


  • Vendor Management:
  • Maintain accurate vendor records and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate terms to achieve favorable payment conditions.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable in wholesale industry, with at least 2 years overseeing other team members
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field plus
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles and best practices.
  • Intermediate excel skills, V-lookups, pivot tables, formulas
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.


Work Schedule

Hybrid position hours Monday to Friday 9am – 6PM
