Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable department.

Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments.

Maintain effective relationships with vendors and resolve any payment-related issues or discrepancies.

Supervise & oversee work conducted by overseas partners performing data entry & 3-way matching process for all merchandise related AP

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the AP function.

Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Prepare and review AP reports and metrics, providing insights to management on payment trends and outstanding liabilities.

Assist in the preparation of financial audits by providing necessary AP documentation and support.

Compliance and Controls:

Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies, including segregation of duties and
authorization protocols.

Monitor and manage the AP aging report and resolve any issues related to overdue or disputed invoices.

Vendor Management:

Maintain accurate vendor records and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.

Manage vendor relationships and negotiate terms to achieve favorable payment conditions.
Qualifications:

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable in wholesale industry, with at least 2 years overseeing other team members

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field plus

Skills:

Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles and best practices.

Intermediate excel skills, V-lookups, pivot tables, formulas

Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective leadership and team management abilities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Work Schedule
Hybrid position hours Monday to Friday 9am – 6PM
