The Accounts Payable Representative is responsible for all payments of supplies and services, maintains A/P files, and performs any other duties to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

Coordinates all communication internally to ensure complete source documents and all A/P policies are followed.

Verifies accuracy of vendor invoices per approval by appropriate Team Leader.

Processes invoices and inputs into the computer system.

Processes internal check requests for travel, expenses, etc.

Prints accounts payable checks and reports and verifies accuracy.

Maintains files of accounts and invoices.

Contacts vendors regarding billings; answers vendor inquiries.

Bills outside agencies and/or clinics for non-patient receivables.

Provides backup to Finance Assistant in preparing daily bank deposits when necessary.
- Attends departmental and facility-wide in-services and any other events.
Wage
-
$20.51 - $24.37 per hour.
Schedule
-
Enjoy a consistent 4-day work week (32 hours) as the standard schedule for this role. Additional hours, up to 40 per week, may be available at times based on business needs.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Associate degree (A.A.) in Accounting or related field or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer, typing, and calculator proficiency; Knowledge of accounting software, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office products

Math competency, ability to plan and organize

Excellent communication, customer service, adaptability, and time management skill
