Accounts Payable Specialist--Viewpoint Vista

Our growing local construction company seeks go-getter Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. Desired candidate will have experience with Trimble's Viewpoint Vista, but will consider a fast learner on new systems. Also, the ideal candidate should have excellent data entry skills, experience with invoice processing, reconciliations, and great interpersonal & customer service skills. If you have previous experience in accounts payable, particularly in the construction industry, we would like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful Accounts Payable Specialist will join the accounting team to assist the Accounting Manager in ensuring the accurate & timely payment of all invoices, and other related accounting matters

Responsibilities:

• Daily posting of vendor invoices
• Reconcile credit card, gas card, and vendor statements
• Handle and research vendor's inquiries on credits, disputed items, and invoicing problems
• Work closely with field personnel and project managers regarding invoice approvals
• Experience processing lien waiver releases, NTOs and bonds a must

Requirements:

• Experience with accounting software, particularly Viewpoint Vista
• Impeccable data entry skills
• Experience processing lien waiver releases, NTOs and bonds
• Comfortable with math and calculations
• Good listening and communication skills with attention to detail
• Comfortable with speaking on the phone with vendors
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel, in particular)
• Associate's degree in accounting or equivalent work experience (5 years minimum)
• Familiarity with the construction industry necessary
• Bilingual Spanish helpful
