ACCOUNTS PAYABLES/PAYROLL PROCESSOR

The Area Agency on Aging of Broward County (AAABC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving Broward County residents age 60 and older. AAABC plans, develops, coordinates, and evaluates programs; funds essential services; and advocates on behalf of older adults, adults with disabilities (18+), their families, and caregivers.

Job Purpose

The Accounts Payable & Payroll Processor is responsible for accounts payable functions and payroll functions for the Agency. This role processes accounts payable transactions, reconciles payable accounts, generates payments to vendors and payees, and processes payroll in a timely and accurate manner.

  • 2+ years AP/Payroll experience; bookkeeping background helpful
  • ADP experience (minimum one year, preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting preferred or 3 years of equivalent experience
  • Strong Excel and Word skills
  • Comfortable working in financial software/ERP systems
  • High accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage a high volume of transactions
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professional judgment

Pay: $39,520.00 - $42,000.00 per year
