Accounts Payables/Receivable (W/ Aviation Background Only)

Location: Dubai South, UAE

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Officer with mandatory aviation industry experience to join our growing team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage full Accounts Receivable cycle, including invoicing for charter flights, ground handling, fuel services, permits, and other aviation-related services
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely collections
• Process Accounts Payable, including supplier and vendor invoices, and manage payment schedules
• Reconcile customer and supplier statements, resolving discrepancies in coordination with internal departments
• Handle international and multi-currency transactions in compliance with VAT and tax regulations
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure adherence to company policies and aviation industry standards
• Monitor AR/AP aging reports and support cash flow planning
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting
• Collaborate with Operations, Charter Sales, Procurement, and other departments to ensure billing accuracy and service validation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 2–3 years of AR/AP experience within the aviation industry (required)
• Strong knowledge of aviation billing processes
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work under pressure
