Chex Finer Foods is a third-generation, family-owned distributor of natural, specialty, and local foods serving independent and chain grocery customers. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our Finance team.
In this role, you’ll manage the full accounts receivable cycle — ensuring accuracy, supporting strong customer relationships, and helping maintain the healthy cash flow that keeps our business thriving.
Manage the AR Cycle from Start to Finish
  • Oversee all aspects of accounts receivable, from invoicing through payment reconciliation.
  • Record and reconcile payments via checks, ACH, wires, and credit cards.
  • Monitor AR aging and proactively address overdue balances to keep accounts current.
Support Smart Credit & Risk Management
  • Evaluate new and existing customers for creditworthiness.
  • Set and maintain appropriate credit limits and payment terms in line with company policies.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Operations to balance credit exposure and customer satisfaction.
Build Lasting Customer Partnerships
  • Develop proactive collection strategies that improve cash flow and reduce DSO.
  • Resolve billing or payment issues quickly and professionally.
  • Strengthen customer relationships through responsive, service-oriented communication.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or Accounting Operations — ideally in food distribution, wholesale, or consumer goods.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and AR processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Why Join Chex Finer Foods
  • Family Values: Join a third-generation company built on integrity, trust, and long-term relationships.
  • Competitive compensation ($75-80k) and benefits package.
  • Meaningful Impact: Help independent grocers and food retailers bring quality products to their communities.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside passionate, dedicated colleagues who support one another.
  • Growth Opportunities: We invest in our people and promote from within.
  • Culture: Fast-moving, customer-driven, and grounded in teamwork and respect.
