Accounts Receivable and Billing Associate

Kay Dee Designs, Inc., a leading provider of kitchen textiles based in rural Hope Valley, Rhode Island. Specializing in print designs. For over 50 years, we are known for our ever-changing and award-winning artistry.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Accounts Receivable and Billing Associate to join our team! This associate will manage the end-to-end invoice and collection process. This role is designed for a candidate who possesses the confidence to make independent decisions and follow guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end billing process. Independently generate, verify, and distribute accurate invoices, ensuring all billing data aligns with orders.
• Submit and upload invoices on customer portals, email, and postal service.
• Credit card processing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to understand the broader impact of transactions across the organization
• Monitor aging accounts to identify and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Contact customers regarding overdue payments and negotiate payment arrangements.
• Provide quick customer response to inquiries.
• Perform other related duties assigned, with the opportunity to contribute to cross-functional initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications

Required

• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable and billing procedures and collection activities.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent internal and external communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Preferred

• 2+ years' billing and collections experience.
• Proven experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing and Collections or similar role.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
