Total Tools Brooklyn is looking for a Full-Time Accounts Receivable Assistant to join the team. This position will suit someone who thrives on a high level of customer service in a retail environment with excellent verbal and written communication skills. With a store-based culture, your skills and experience will be utilised in a fast paced environment with many challenges. A confident and friendly phone manner will complement the existing team who prides themselves on meeting deadlines, constantly being organised and insisting on accuracy.

What will you be doing?
  • Enter and allocate all receipts ensuring account balances are accurately reflected in the
    system
  • Debt collections for outstanding invoices to ensure monies are received within terms
  • Checking and releasing of sales orders that are blocked/on hold
  • Maintain stop supply register
  • Generate Proforma Sales invoices for non-account customer
  • Investigate and resolving customer queries and issues
  • Prepare credit applications and complete credit checks for all applications
  • Management for the Debtors Ledger and customer maintenance
  • Manage Unallocated Account (UNA) and More!

  • Build on existing strong relationships with customers, suppliers, store staff and management
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to work through competing priorities
  • Strong computer literacy including proficiency in Excel, Work and Outlook (Microsoft 365)
  • Pronto experience advantageous, but not essential
  • Keen eye for detail and ability to follow procedures
