Empire Cooler Service has been the leading supplier of refrigeration and ice making equipment in the Chicago area since 1932. We lease and service equipment to restaurants, hotels, hospitals, schools, warehouses, corporate offices and more. We are a “white-glove service company” whose goal is to anticipate and exceed our customer's needs in this ever-changing hospitality market.

Job Summary:

As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely payment collection from our clients. You will work closely with the finance team and other departments to help maintain a healthy cash flow for the organization.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of accounts receivables.
• Addresses customer inquiries in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations.
• Resolves clientbilling problems and addresses accounts receivable delinquency, applying good customer service in a timely manner.
• Correctly applies customer payments to open invoices.
• Interaction with other departments regarding billing nuances.
• Research & resolve inaccuracies using analytical skillset.
• Communications with customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts.
• Provide documents to accounts and follow up.

Experience and Skills:

• The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 4 years of corporate accounts receivable/ invoicing experience including interaction with a large customer base.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and to adapt to a fastchanging environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, experience with Intacct & Salesforce is a plus.
• Must have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy.
• Creative, selfdisciplined, and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency.
