Job Summary
The Accounts Receivable Executive is responsible for managing customer billing, collections, and receivables in a manufacturing setup. The role ensures timely invoicing, accurate accounting of sales, and effective follow-up of outstanding receivables while coordinating with sales, dispatch, and logistics teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post sales invoices for finished goods and services
- Ensure invoices are raised as per dispatch, delivery challans, and customer POs
- Verify pricing, quantities, discounts, and tax details
- Monitor customer outstanding balances and ageing reports
- Follow up with customers for timely collections
- Account for advances, credit notes, debit notes, and returns
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Coordinate with sales, dispatch, logistics, and production teams
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance
- Support month-end closing and MIS reporting
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
- 2–5 years of Accounts Receivable experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally / Dynamics)
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong knowledge of GST/VAT, e-invoicing, and e-way bills
- Understanding of credit control and collection processes
- Customer reconciliation and ageing analysis
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
