Accounts Receivable for HOA

<Job Summary>

The HOA Accounts Receivable role involves managing homeowners' assessments by processing payments, monitoring outstanding balances, generating invoices, performing collections, and maintaining accurate financial records. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be highly motivated self-starter who will be responsible for entering payment data into the accounting systems:

<Responsibilities>

· Accurately handle and process all incoming cheques, ensuring they are correctly recorded.

· Track, record, and process Post-Dated Cheques (PDCs), ensuring timely updates to the relevant property and homeowner accounts

· Post Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) transactions and send appropriate notification letters to clients, following up as needed

· Monitor outstanding receivables and use aging reports to identify overdue accounts.

· Conduct follow-up with residents on overdue accounts through phone calls and correspondence.

· Resolve billing inquiries and disputes from residents and board members.

· Prepare monthly financial statements and accounts receivable aging reports.

· Partner with attorneys and third-party agencies on escalated delinquency cases, monitoring and reporting on activity.

· Excellent attitude and willingness to continuously learn and update skills in order to remain competitive and challenged

· 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable

· Proficiency in MS: Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point

· Strong data entry skills

· High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
