Accounts Receivable Manager

At Provident Healthcare we are seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) experience to join our growing team. This is a vital role within our organization of Behavioral Health and Addiction Services. If you are looking to take next steps as a working manager with growth opportunity to transition to pure manager direction as we grow.

Position Summary

A billing specialist reviews and submits accurate claims to both the clients and the different payers through various clearing houses and platforms, ensuring that each account is paid on time and in full. The ideal candidate must have excellent accounting skills as well as deep organizational skills to accurately handle all the incoming payments, outgoing invoices, database updates, and more that make up their day-to-day responsibilities. On top of this meticulous attention to detail, the billing specialist must also possess great communication skills to answer any questions related to billing. Available to work US hours.

Job Description

  • Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies for processing
  • Post insurance ERA and EOBs to the patients’ accounts
  • Responsible for reconciling accounts receivable statements, as needed
  • Update residents’ accounts as needed
  • Work closely with 1 biller and 2 SUD UR employees in collection and verification efforts, as well as other third parties (vendors, insurance representatives, and similar)
  • Keeping abreast of latest billing issues
  • This position is remote

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of SUD billing experience (MCR and MCD)
  • Knowledge of Point Click Care/ Waystar/Availity billing systems
  • Available to work US hours
  • Strong communication and computer skills
  • Professional attitude and work ethic
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as needed- recognizes the need for support and demonstrates the willingness to ask for help
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond with confidence during challenging or chaotic situations
