Job Description:

Generate and issue accurate and timely invoices for project milestones, rentals, or other project-related charges.

Track outstanding invoices and proactively follow up with vendors to ensure timely payments.

Regularly review aging accounts to ensure they remain within acceptable levels, identifying and addressing any overdue balances promptly.

Assist in the negotiation and documentation process of promissory notes, ensuring clear terms and agreements that align with RUA policies and legal requirements.

Implement approaches to facilitate timely payments while maintaining positive customer relationships.

Verify, allocate, and post transactions accurately, ensuring proper reconciliation of both accounts payable and accounts receivable records to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.

Analyze financial data meticulously to prepare comprehensive financial records, leveraging insights for accurate forecasting of budgets and strategic planning to support the RUA financial objectives.

Identify areas for enhancement within the accounts receivable function, proposing and implementing process improvements to streamline operations and optimize efficiency.

Safeguard sensitive financial information, maintaining confidentiality and integrity through adherence to established protocols and best practices.

Mitigate risk by implementing credit checks for new clients to assess their financial stability and likelihood of timely payments.

Facilitate decision-making processes by ensuring the availability of accurate and timely financial data, enabling stakeholders to make informed strategic choices.

Prepare reports on project receivables, aging reports, and collection performance metrics.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
