Accounts Receivable Specialist

Position Summary

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to own core accounts receivable operations for a growing bitcoin mining operation. This is a newly created role designed to strengthen transaction integrity, reconciliation, reporting automation, and data visibility across both traditional banking and digital asset environments.

This position requires strong fundamentals of accounting and sound judgment. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment involving high-volume transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable, Reconciliations & Controls

• Own day-to-day accounts receivable processes, including transaction tracking, posting, and reconciliation
• Track and record transactions across bank accounts, wires, exchanges, cold wallets, on-chain activity, and platform-based systems
• Perform routine and ad hoc reconciliations between bank accounts, digital wallets, AR subledger, clearing/suspense accounts, and transaction logs
• Identify, investigate, document, and resolve discrepancies; ensure timely follow-up and proper resolution
• Support month-end close activities, including preparation of schedules, reconciliations, and journal entry support
• Maintain audit-ready documentation with clear traceability and adherence to internal control standards
• Assist with accounting policy documentation, process narratives, and internal control design and support
• Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for audits, tax filings, and internal reviews

Qualifications

Required:

• Experience producing recurring reports and communicating insights to non-finance stakeholders
• Solid understanding of U.S. accounting principles, reconciliations, and close processes
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
• High level of discretion when handling sensitive financial and transactional data

Preferred

• Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar
• Experience with business intelligence or data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent)
• Prior experience with crypto, blockchain-related businesses, or digital asset transaction tracking
• Experience in environments with high transaction volume or operational complexity

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
