Superior Masonry Builders - Immediate Opening for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Administrator

This dual-role position is responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely collections, and providing general administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. This job also entails assisting the president of the company in day-to-day accounting and billing tasks. The ability to work independently, strong numerical skills, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles are essential for success in this role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including vendor communication and customer invoicing.
• Communicate effectively with clients and vendors to address financial inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Utilize Sage 300 Construction Software to accurately record accounts receivable and accounts payable entries.
• Prepare regular reports on accounts status, aging reports, and collections progress.
• Request Supplier waivers.
• Request Vendor Certificate of Insurance.
• Process Warranties & Guarantees to General contractors.
• Set up tax exempt projects, contacting suppliers.

Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and procedures.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Skills in Sage 300 Construction Software accounts payable and accounts receivable, helpful.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel software.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal.
