Accounts Recovery Executive

Job Summary:

The Accounts Recovery Executive is responsible for managing overdue accounts, following up with clients regarding outstanding payments, and ensuring timely debt recovery while maintaining positive customer relationships. The role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills to identify delinquent accounts, create repayment solutions, and minimize financial losses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact customers via phone, email, or written communication to remind them of outstanding payments.
• Negotiate payment plans or settlements in line with company policies.
• Maintain detailed records of all communications and recovery actions in the company’s database.
• Coordinate with the finance team to reconcile recovered amounts and update accounts.
• Identify and escalate problematic accounts to management for legal or advanced recovery actions.
• Monitor customer payment trends and recommend strategies to reduce future defaults.
• Prepare periodic recovery reports and maintain recovery performance metrics.
• Maintain professionalism and empathy while dealing with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Support the finance department in improving collection processes and systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable, debt recovery, or collections (preferred).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, ERP systems).
• Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism and tact.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Monthly recovery target achievement rate.
• Number of delinquent accounts reduced.
• Recovery efficiency and time to collect.
• Customer satisfaction during recovery process.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month
