We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Accounts Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and financial management, along with a passion for teaching and mentoring students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach accounting concepts including financial accounting, cost accounting, management accounting, and bookkeeping.
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans, assignments, and assessments aligned with the curriculum.
- Explain topics such as journal entries, ledgers, trial balance, financial statements, depreciation, and budgeting in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Monitor and evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Conduct class tests, quizzes, and practice sessions to strengthen understanding.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
- Create an interactive and supportive classroom atmosphere to enhance learning.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in accounting education and industry practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance / Business Administration.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred for school-level teaching).
- Proven experience as an Accounts Teacher / Lecturer / Tutor.
- Must have online teaching experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Tally / Excel / QuickBooks (optional, as per requirement).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Patience, clarity, and enthusiasm for student success.
