Position Summary: The Acquisition Email Marketing Manager is responsible for the management of acquisition email campaigns and the acquisition marketing email strategy.
Team: The Acquisition Email Marketing Manager falls under the Chief Marketing Officer’s remit and reports directly to the Head of Direct Marketing. This position falls under the function of Customer Acquisition within Marketing. While aligned to the Customer Acquisition vertical, this person will collaborate cross-functionally and may support campaign initiatives across other marketing verticals.
Responsibilities:
· Drive Acquisition Email strategy and tactical execution
· Build, execute, and optimize the email acquisition plan to drive new loans
· Generate new accounts through efficient customer acquisition and greater customer engagement
· Work in a multidisciplinary environment to create, launch, and coordinate acquisition and engagement initiatives
· Develop and execute testing plan
· Provide reporting, analysis and recommendations throughout and at the conclusion of campaigns
· Optimize email campaigns for deliverability, mobile rendering (responsive) and best possible conversion rates
· Develop send strategy to produce volume while maintaining server health, which limits bounces, blocks, and opt outs
· Manage third-party email partner programs, including creative and subject line testing, HTML asset delivery, tracking implementation, and pre-launch QA/testing to ensure successful execution.
· Work with compliance to ensure all regulatory requirements (ie CAN SPAM, etc) are met
· Source leads for email program
· Define dynamic list criteria and work with the data team for list pull segments and robust reporting
· Generate tagging links and code content for tracking in a cross-channel environment
· Work closely with the marketing team to share best practices and results to enhance the customer experience
Other Responsibilities:
· Manage marketing execution for the Referral Partner Channel to include marketing material development and co-branded landing page development
· May assist with the creative development process across the organization
Experience & Qualifications:
· 5+ years marketing experience
· Depth of Email Marketing experience (consumer finance/financial services a plus)
· Proficiency in direct-to-consumer marketing channels
· Proven experience creating email marketing campaigns
· Experience with email automation tools and knowledge of latest trends
· Demonstrates sense of ownership and urgency
· Strong project management skills
· Comfortable with data and ability to create reports and analyses (Tableau, SQL and DataBricks a plus)
· Excellent communicator, self-assured and confident, with the poise to interact and work effectively with staff at all levels of the organization
· Experience with email platforms and working knowledge of email servers (Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Braze a plus)
· Experience developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans, including structured testing strategies.

Location:
This position is based out of our Wilmington DE office. It is required to be in-office three days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday), with the option of working remotely on Thursday and Friday.
