Acro/Tumble Instructor

Job Summary

Seeking to add an instructor to our staff with Tumble, Gymnastics, or Acrobatics experience to teach multiple levels of Tumble/Acro to our students. Candidate must have experience with teaching multiple levels & spotting advanced skills. Compensation is dependent on experience. Dance experience is not a requirement, but it can lead to additional classes/hours.

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles tailored to different age groups and skill levels
• Teach acrobatic skills with clear instructions and demonstrations
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment for children and adults alike
• Provide individualized tutoring and feedback to help students improve their technique and confidence
• Maintain safety standards by supervising activities closely, conducting risk assessments, and implementing proper spotting techniques

Experience

• Prior experience in teaching acrobatics, tumbling, or related movement arts such as ballet or dance is highly desirable
• Strong background in classroom management, lesson planning, and working with children or adult learners in educational settings
• Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education, or special education is a plus
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies to foster positive learning experiences

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
