Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor laser cutting machines (CO₂ laser, fiber laser, etc.) for acrylic cutting and engraving.
• Prepare materials such as acrylic sheets, mirrors, plastic boards, and related substrates.
• Set up machine parameters including speed, power, and focus according to material thickness and design.
• Load and adjust design files using CAD/CAM, CorelDRAW, AutoCAD, or similar software.
• Inspect finished products for precision, smooth edges, and accuracy.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of laser cutting equipment.
• Troubleshoot cutting issues such as burns, incomplete cuts, misalignment, or distortion.
• Optimize layouts to reduce material wastage.
• Work closely with design, production, and fabrication teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines related to lasers and acrylic cutting.

Education Requirements

• Minimum: Matric / Intermediate
• Preferred: Diploma or certification in Laser Cutting, CNC Operations, Fabrication, or Technical Training.

Experience Requirements

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in laser cutting, preferably with acrylic materials.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (CorelDRAW, AutoCAD, Illustrator, LightBurn, RDWorks, etc.).
• Ability to handle different acrylic thicknesses and cutting techniques.
• Experience in laser-powered engraving and finishing processes.

Pay: From Rs150,000.00 per month
