ACT & a Reading/English/Writing tutor

We are looking for someone who:

· is very engaging and energetic while instructing students;

· Utilizes and customizes our curriculum to improve student outcomes;

· Communicates effectively with students and parents and is responsive to them

· Diligently works to create a positive, safe learning environment as you work one-on-one with students;

· Has fun while helping students achieve their goals.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree (or actively pursuing one)

· Strong academic background

-Serious Reliability and Commitment

-Reading tutor must have experience teaching/tutoring reading

· ACT Tutor must have confidence tutoring ALL sections of the ACT, including both verbal and math sections (Math sections include Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and some Trigonometry)

Typical Hours:

General tutoring hours are outside of school hours and on weekends. Your availability should include 6 or more hours per week and should be primarily in the following time blocks:

Summer hours: Monday-Saturday: 10 am-7 pm

School year hours: Monday-Friday: 3pm-9pm & Saturday: 10am-5pm
