Overview
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and results-driven Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) Sales Representative to join our team to drive API sales in the US market. This role involves:
- Leveraging existing relationships and continuing to build strong relationships with clients in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Promoting our high-quality ingredients, and rapidly expanding our market presence.
The ideal candidate will possess 3+ years of experience, excellent communication skills, a solid network / track record in the US pharmaceutical sector, and the ability to manage complex accounts effectively. Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities through outside sales efforts.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to pharmaceutical ingredient sourcing and development professionals and decision-makers.
- Manage key accounts by providing tailored solutions that meet client needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes (e.g., FDA, EMA guidelines) to establish competitive pricing strategies.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure sales agreements aligned with company objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide technical support and ensure seamless product delivery.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and product development.
- Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and presentations using Microsoft Office tools such as Word and PowerPoint.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3+ years of proven experience in B2B Pharmaceutical API sales.
- Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent account management capabilities.
- Demonstrated success in outside sales roles with a focus on pharmaceutical ingredients or related products.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to conduct engaging product demos.
- Analytical mindset with strong organizational skills for managing multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical sales regulations and compliance standards is highly desirable.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
