Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and energetic Activities Assistant / Transportation Driver to support our residents’ quality of life through engaging activities and safe transportation services. This role assists with daily activity programming and provides transportation to appointments and community outings while ensuring resident safety and comfort.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and enjoys working with seniors.

Key Responsibilities

Activities Support

• Assist with planning and leading group and individual activities

• Encourage resident participation and engagement

• Prepare activity materials and set up/clean up events

• Document resident attendance and participation

• Support special events and community outings

Transportation

• Safely transport residents to medical appointments and outings

• Assist residents in and out of vehicles safely

• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and routine safety checks

• Maintain transportation logs and mileage records

• Follow all safety, infection control, and emergency procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• Ability to safely assist residents with mobility needs

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate and patient-centered approach

• CPR certification preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed

• Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and driving

• Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
