JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute a seasonal programming calendar that supports F&B and room revenue goals.
  • Plan and oversee holiday activations (e.g. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas) and regional events (e.g. Coachella, Stagecoach) to drive visibility and bookings.
  • Collaborate with F&B leadership to create and support activations highlighting new menus, beverage launches, pop-ups, and more.
  • Lead weekly activities meetings to ensure seamless communication and execution across departments. Draft and finalize Event Resumes and confirm alignment with operational teams.
  • Manage on-property influencers: coordinate arrival experiences, property tours, and ensure activations are “Instagrammable” and share-worthy.
  • Support social media and PR content creation, with a focus on capturing and promoting real-time guest experiences.
  • Handle tactical deliverables including updating website and event calendars, creating social content, supporting ResortPass listings, and executing Swim Club promotions.
  • Source and coordinate DJs, entertainers, vendors, and partners that reflect the Ace brand and the Palm Springs creative scene.
  • Leverage tools like Eventbrite and website CMS platforms to manage RSVPs, analyze performance, and improve future programming.
  • Stay tuned into local culture, trends, and demand drivers to ensure programming remains relevant and community driven.
  • Act as a liaison between the property and the local creative community, identifying new opportunities for partnerships and brand alignment.
  • Report directly to the Director of Food & Beverage.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • High school diploma or GED; 1 year experience in the recreation/health club operations or related professional area. OR
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Health Education, Physical Education, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Must be passionate about hospitality and eager to create memorable guest experiences
  • Must be able to quickly adapt and pivot when needed, such as when activities need to be altered due to weather changes, etc
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to easily communicate with guests
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
  • Must be available to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
