Job Overview

Mi Casa Care Homes is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and creative person to join our team as an Activities & Transportation Coordinator. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating engaging experiences for seniors, and staying active throughout the day.

You will be responsible for planning and leading activities, coordinating outings, and safely transporting residents to appointments—all while providing hands-on support as a CNA.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a monthly activities calendar tailored to resident interests and abilities
• Plan and lead daily activities including games, crafts, music, exercise, and social events
• Coordinate and supervise group outings (restaurants, parks, shopping, etc.)
• Research and bring in interactive, on-site activities (entertainers, therapy visits, etc.)
• Safely transport residents to medical and personal appointments
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and ADLs during activities and outings
• Monitor resident safety, engagement, and overall well-being
• Manage the activities budget and track all expenses
• Set up and clean up activity spaces
• Document participation and communicate updates with the care team

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Experience in senior care, activities, or recreation preferred
• Ability to assist residents with mobility and daily living needs
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Energetic, patient, and creative personality
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Schedule

• Flexible scheduling (weekday availability required)
• Occasional weekends for outings and special events
