About the Role

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Qualified Professional (QP) to join our Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) in Williamston, NC.

Our ACTT program operates as a "hospital without walls," delivering intensive, community-based behavioral health services to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. This multidisciplinary team provides comprehensive, person-centered care that addresses mental health, substance use, housing, and vocational needs—meeting clients where they are to reduce crises and improve long-term outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement person-centered treatment plans aligned with best practices

• Coordinate care across a multidisciplinary ACTT team

• Conduct utilization reviews and ensure compliance with CARF, DHHS, and LME standards

• Lead and participate in treatment team meetings

• Manage discharge planning and continuity of care

• Maintain communication with referral sources and community partners

• Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation

• Participate in CQI initiatives and peer record reviews

• Provide transportation and community-based support for clients

• Assist with crisis intervention and emergency service rotation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field (required)

• Master's degree in a Human Services field (preferred)

• Must meet Qualified Professional (QP) criteria per NC regulations (10A NCAC 27G.0104)

• 1–3 years experience working with severe and persistent mental illness (preferred)

• Experience in vocational and/or housing rehabilitation strongly preferred

• Valid driver's license required
