ACTT Team Leader (LCSW / LCMHC / LMFT)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate ACTT (Assertive Community Treatment Team) Leader with licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LCMHC (Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) to guide our multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health and behavioral services. As an ACTT Team Leader, you will oversee clinical operations, coordinate treatment plans, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care for individuals with complex mental health needs, including those with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and trauma-related conditions. Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of mental health professionals in delivering evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and motivational interviewing.
  • Oversee intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing patient care planning to ensure individualized treatment approaches.
  • Coordinate crisis intervention efforts and crisis management strategies to support clients experiencing acute mental health episodes or behavioral challenges.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on social skills, behavior management, and trauma recovery while promoting a supportive environment for clients of all ages.
  • Manage medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring accurate records of patient assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans using appropriate medical terminology and ICD coding standards.
  • Collaborate with families, schools (including special education settings), community agencies, and healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes through case management and direct support services.
  • Implement data collection methods for clinical research initiatives related to behavioral health interventions and patient progress tracking.

Experience

  • Proven experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in behavioral health or mental health counseling settings.
  • Demonstrated expertise in crisis intervention, crisis management, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder.
  • Strong background in home & community care environments along with hospital or clinical research experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems, CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical records management.
  • Familiarity with behavioral health treatment modalities including applied behavior analysis (ABA), trauma-informed care such as PTSD treatment, and addiction counseling techniques.
  • Experience leading clinical teams in settings that require compliance with HIPAA standards and medical documentation protocols.
