Actuarial Analyst - TPA Insurance

Job Summary

The Actuarial Analyst will support the actuarial and analytics functions of the TPA by analyzing healthcare claims data, preparing reports, and assisting in pricing, reserving, and risk assessment activities. The role involves working closely with underwriting, finance, and operations teams to provide data-driven insights that support business decisions and client reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze medical claims data, utilization trends, and cost patterns to support actuarial evaluations.
• Assist in pricing models, premium calculations, and renewal analysis for corporate clients.
• Prepare actuarial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and insurance partners.
• Conduct trend analysis on healthcare costs, claim frequency, and severity.
• Assist in developing forecasting models for medical inflation and utilization trends.
• Provide data insights to underwriting and client management teams for policy renewals and negotiations.
• Ensure data accuracy and validation for actuarial and financial reporting.
• Support regulatory reporting and compliance requirements when necessary.
• Collaborate with IT and data teams to improve data analytics and reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Finance.
• 2–4 years of experience in insurance, healthcare analytics, or TPA operations preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and statistical modeling skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, or other data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of health insurance products, claims management, and healthcare cost drivers.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and interpret trends.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in health insurance companies, TPAs, or actuarial consulting firms.
• Familiarity with healthcare claims data and medical coding systems.
• Exposure to data visualization and predictive analytics.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
