Ad Sales/Media Manager

Overview
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Media Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive media strategies that enhance our brand presence across various platforms. This role requires a blend of digital marketing expertise, content creation skills, and a strong understanding of market trends to effectively engage our target audience. Duties would also include selling and creating classified advertising, employment advertising and various other types of ads plus scheduling those ads for print and/or social media, as well as, working with the circulation software. Customer service is also a necessary component of this job.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement media strategies that align with overall marketing goals
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to create visually appealing graphics and promotional materials.
• Oversee print advertising efforts, ensuring consistency with digital campaigns.
• Analyze market trends and customer insights to inform media planning and execution.
• Update the circulation database, schedule renewals, and deal with any technical difficulties that might arise.
• Certain other IT type jobs arise from time to time and it would be a benefit if those could be handled as well.

Experience

• Proficiency in digital marketing techniques, including SEO, SEM, and social media advertising.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite for design purposes is essential.
• Experience in print advertising is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
