Overview

Role Description

Vacancy Description: Recommended clients residing in Abu Dhabi are looking for a nurturing and loving Nanny/Governess for their two boys aged 3 and almost 6 years. The sought candidate will ideally hold a University Degree and must have relevant childcare qualifications. With minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Nanny/Governess with children of similar ages. We are looking for a caring and gentle Nanny/Governess that believes in a similar parenting approach as the parents, is patient, and has a genuine interest in child development. The everyday responsibilities are to provide a nurturing, fun and safe environment for the boys with the planning of age appropriate activities, including arts and crafts to develop and improve fine/gross motor skills and concentration. Engage in interesting activities and support the children holistically through play and making sure that developmental milestones are met. Taking care of their belongings and keeping their bedrooms in order. The older brother goes to a British school, therefore knowledge of the British curriculum is a must, as well as having the ability to assist with Year 2 homework regarding maths and phonics and generally support English language development. We are looking for a well - spoken, professionally presented and experienced Nanny/Governess with a positive approach and a sense of cultural respect, understanding and supporting family values. Having the ability to work collaboratively in a shared setting and be an excellent team player. The ability to oversee and gently guide and advise junior Nannies is also highly desirable. A native English speaker is preferred and a desire to commit long term/2 years plus. This is a full time live out role with a fully furnished apartment provided, based on 12 hours per day with 5 full days per week and one day half day per week. Starts ASAP, Generous Salary. Please note, due to the high amount of interest in this role we will only be able to respond to candidates that meet all the criteria as listed above.
