We are seeking a dedicated and experienced instructor to lead a course that equips academically at-risk students with essential academic skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping students develop effective time management, goal-setting, memory encoding and retrieval techniques, as well as critical thinking abilities. In addition, this role will focus on teaching students how to apply these skills to enhance their learning across lectures, reading, writing, class discussions, and synthesis activities. This position is contracted on a per-semester basis.
Successful candidates should be committed to contributing to a climate that supports a diverse student body, serves first-generation college students, multilingual learners, and contributions to equity and social justice through their work.
