Are you a passionate and dedicated English teacher looking to make a significant impact on

middle school students? Angola Middle School is seeking a qualified English Teacher to join our

team for the upcoming academic year. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to create a

dynamic and engaging learning environment, collaborate with a supportive team, and help

students develop a lifelong love for English Language Arts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teach and help students master English Language Arts standards.
• Work with colleagues to align curriculum and collaboratively design engaging lessons.
• Actively participate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to analyze student

progress and enhance learning strategies.

• Integrate technology effectively into your teaching, including maintaining a Google

Classroom for content, communication, and resources.

• Maintain open and productive communication with all stakeholders, including students,

parents, and school administration.

• Promote creativity and complex thinking in all your lessons to prepare students for

future academic success.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required: A Bachelor’s degree with two (2) years experience.
• Required: Successful completion of a Safe Hiring expanded background check and an

Indiana DCS index.
