The Adjunct Phlebotomy Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction. The instructor will prepare students for successful completion of the Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) exam and entry-level employment in the healthcare field.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach phlebotomy courses in accordance with curriculum standards and program objectives

Provide hands-on instruction in venipuncture, capillary collection, infection control, safety, and patient care procedures

Monitor student progress, attendance, and competency development

Maintain accurate records and submit grades and reports in a timely manner

Ensure compliance with all safety, accreditation, and institutional policies

Support students in preparation for the NHA Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification exam

Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) credential required; NHA certification preferred

Minimum of two years of recent phlebotomy experience in a clinical setting

Minimum of two years teaching, training, or on-the-job training experience

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work with diverse student populations in both classroom and lab environments
