Accountant cum Admin Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant cum Admin to support the daily operations of our technical services company. The ideal candidate will manage accounting tasks, coordinate housekeeping and maintenance schedules, liaise with external contractors, and handle general administrative responsibilities to ensure smooth workflow across departments.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance
- Manage daily accounting operations, including data entry, invoicing, receipts, and payments.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, expense reports, and cash flow summaries.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
- Coordinate with auditors and assist with annual audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
Administration & Coordination
- Organize and maintain company documents, files, and communication records.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and documentation as needed.
- Manage office supplies, stationery, and general office upkeep.
- Handle employee attendance, basic HR paperwork, and internal communication.
Maintenance & Operations Coordination
- Create and manage daily housekeeping schedules for properties or facilities.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and assign tasks to technicians or service staff.
- Liaise with external contractors, suppliers, and service providers for repairs, inspections, and ongoing maintenance.
- Follow up on work completion, quality checks, and invoicing from contractors.
- Ensure timely renewal of contracts, service agreements, and permits related to operations.
Customer & Client Support
- Respond to client inquiries related to maintenance or service issues.
- Schedule technician visits and ensure proper communication with residents/clients.
- Maintain client database, service logs, and follow-up records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting and administrative roles (technical services or facilities management preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books).
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Additional Skills (Preferred)
- Knowledge of VAT filing and basic UAE compliance.
- Experience coordinating maintenance or facilities service teams.
- Ability to handle client communication professionally.
