Administrative and Sales Assistant

Tahoe Specialty Flooring & Window Design, a Flooring America and Hunter Douglas Gallery Dealer, has an outstanding opportunity for a highly organized and detail oriented self-starter to interact with new and existing clients and provide administrative and sales support at our Tahoe City showroom.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients in person and over the phone.
  • Act as support to our sales team with the preparation of bids and job proposals.
  • Answer phones and schedule appointments.
  • Complete product research.
  • Assist with communication between clients and estimators/project managers.
  • Data entry.
  • Varied administrative duties.

About You

The successful candidate will be creative, energetic, organized and detail oriented. In addition, candidates will be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while employing a polished and professional approach. Ideally, you will have demonstrated in your background:

  • Detail oriented and excited to embrace multiple and ever-changing priorities.
  • Thoroughly enjoy working with people.
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
  • Enthusiasm, attention to detail and flexibility are important and required.
  • Excellent follow through, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Customer service oriented with a positive can-do attitude.
  • Possess a sense of humor, love being part of a small company, and always be a team player.
  • Highly organized with good problem solving skills.
  • Computer savvy with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Forklift operation a plus.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Job Type: Part-Time 25-30 hours per week - Monday through Friday

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
