GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Administrative Assistant for The School of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training is part of the administrative team and provides essential day-to-day operational support to students, faculty and Program Directors. This role is student and faculty interfacing and focuses on the needs of the School, ranging from general office support, resource management, event coordination and support, student fundraising, and student worker supervision.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Student and Faculty Support:
Serves as primary point of contact for student and faculty questions and resource needs
Maintains academic calendars, class schedules, and student rosters
Assists with room reservations
Provides students with fundraising guidance per policies and procedures
Oversees and provides guidance to the FWS lab maintenance student team
Clinical Education Support:
Provides support to the Coordinator of Clinical Education for the MSAT program
General Administrative and Program Support
Takes meeting minutes for MSAT and DPT programs
Facilitates with registration and MSAT course evaluations
Maintains office, classroom and lab supply inventories
Maintains office equipment
Submits and monitors facility request
Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Administrative Services and/or the Program Directors.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workplace and file management systems (e.g., Box).

Full-time, in person, on-site position on the Hillsboro Campus.
Standard weekday hours 8am-5pm with some flexibility.
There may be occasional early evening or weekend events (Commencement).
