Music School (Waxhaw)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00pm–8:00pm

Location: Musicians in Motion – Waxhaw, NC

Musicians in Motion is a fun, energetic, student-focused music school with a strong community presence. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our Waxhaw studio. Responsibilities:

• Greeting families & serving as the friendly face of our school
• Checking in students as they arrive for lessons
• Managing the daily schedule & studio flow
• Communicating with parents about billing, scheduling, and programs
• Handling basic customer service via phone, text, and email
• Supporting teachers with room readiness, paperwork, and communication
• Light cleaning/tidying of lobby and studio spaces
• Helping with promotional tasks & studio events

Ideal Candidate:

• Warm, outgoing, and great with people
• Calm under pressure and solution-oriented
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Tech-comfortable (Google Workspace, texting platforms, etc.)
• Reliable, punctual, professional
• Able to maintain a welcoming, hospitable vibe for families and kids

Bonus Points if:

• You have experience working with children or families
• You have experience in customer service or front desk roles
• You like music or the arts (not required!)

Requirements:

• Must be 18+
• Must be available Monday–Friday, 12–8pm, consistently
• Background check required
