Administrative Assistant

Our Greater Boston area retail client is looking for a Jr. Administrative Assistant with 2+ years' experience for a role that's onsite 3 days a week and remote the other two days.


Day in the life:


• Provides administrative support for one internal manager

• Responds to questions and requests and researches information

• Interfaces with a variety of internal and external individuals

• Involves appropriate associates from other departments as needed when planning an event

• Provides secretarial and administrative support for department

• Monitors department email box and responds to inquires quickly

• Organizes and distributes internal recognition packets

• Prepares various routine and complex reports filling in the appropriate information needed for events

• Oversees and monitors administrative projects and initiatives

• Fully hands on during events to ensure successful execution while problem solving issues as they arise

• Performs other duties as required or directed


Requirements:

• 2+ years of administrative experience in a corporate setting, is required

• Must possess strong organizational and administrative skills and the ability to multitask and maintain strong attention to detail in a fast paced environment

• Must have excellent phone manner, solid written and verbal communication skills and be customer service oriented

• Strong Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
