Administrative Assistant

We are hiring for a new Administrative Assistant. This position offers a large amount of independence, with little direction given throughout the day. Qualified applicants will have some experience in positions consisting of, or overlapping with, accounting, customer service, human resources, inventory, management, payroll, and secretarial. In our small shop setting the administrative assistant wears many figurative hats and is expected to handle a wide variety of responsibilities. Applicants must be proficient in various office software such as Google Docs, Google Sheets, & QuickBooks.

You’ll work side by side with our current administrative assistant until fully trained.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and greet customers
  • Invoice and process payments Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Collect information needed to build estimates for customers
  • Coordinate appointments
  • Create flyers for advertising at events, etc.
  • Maintain filing systems
  • Maintain office & shop inventory
  • Manage workflow of shop employees and management
  • Operate social media accounts
  • Prepare reports
  • Sum payroll hours
  • Utilize and maintain office equipment

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal & written communication
  • Excellent organization
  • Proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets, & QuickBooks
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time over various tasks
  • Attention to detail

Details

  • Pay is $15+ per hour, dependent on experience
  • Full time
  • Monday-Friday
  • No weekends or major holidays.
  • PTO eligibility after 6 months
