Administrative Assistant

Job Overview

Split Mountain Pipe & Supply, Inc. is a privately-owned company with two locations. Our goals are to provide reliable, personable, and honest customer service with an emphasis on open communication internally and externally. We are a supplier of pipe, valves, and fittings to the oilfield and other industries. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing administrative functions in support of the sales organization and Store Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Answer incoming phone calls, refer inquiries to the appropriate person;
  • Participate in the safety culture and be willing to display safety participation in all daily tasks;
  • Perform data entry involving invoicing, inventory management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, amongst other office processes;
  • Contacting customers and vendors regarding accounts;
  • File and maintain documentation in an organized and efficient manner;

Qualifications

Any and all qualifications will be considered that are pertinent to performing the essential job functions.

  • High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience;
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, Netsuite experience a plus;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Self-motivated, willing to learn the business to help provide the highest level of service for our customers;
  • 95% of the job functions are performed at a desk and computer.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
