Administrative Assistant responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-
Supervises Health Care Center clerical team members.
-
Supports Health Care Administration, Nursing, Admissions, and Social Services on projects, policy and procedure documents, letters, memos, and other necessary typing.

Assembles admissions packets and maintains records of correspondence and inquiries.
-
Mails and maintains records on customer surveys.
-
Charts audits and yearly mailings.
-
Completes Medicare Part B cut letter process and LTC insurance claims.
-
Schedules appointments, maintains files, copies, answers phones and other general clerical support.
-
Completes monthly Long Term Care Insurance Claims.

Performs end of year record retention process.
-
Takes and distributes meeting minutes.
-
Provides feeding assistance to residents and assists with management of resident dining rooms as needed.
Requirements:
Administrative Assistant Qualifications:
-
High school graduate or equivalent preferred, with the ability to read, write and speak the English language.

Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
-
Secretarial skills/experience.
-
Must have working knowledge of computers and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
-
Supervisory experience preferred.
