Administrative Assistant

Duties

  • Compass Financial Group is a small independent financial advising firm focused on taking care of our client’s finances. We help our clients define and meet their financial goals. Our clients are individuals, families, and corporations who expect timely and organized communication.

The Administrative Support Specialist will be responsible for handling a variety of paperwork and administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient office operations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. This position will work in the office five days per week between normal business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review new account paperwork as well as account maintenance paperwork.
  • Apply a working knowledge of operations/client-service processes.
  • Process and file various types of documents.
  • Maintain and update electronic and physical filing systems to ensure easy access and retrieval of information.
  • Prepare and proofread documents, including letters and forms.
  • Handle data entry and ensure accuracy of information in databases and spreadsheets.
  • Other duties as requested.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document preparation.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
