Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily operations in an engineering office. This role involves email management, phone support, document formatting, report editing, and clerical coordination.
The ideal candidate has Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience in administrative support, office coordination, or clerical work.
Responsibilities
· Manage and respond to emails and correspondence professionally
· Answer and direct incoming phone calls
· Edit, format, and proofread engineering reports and documents
· Perform data entry, document control, and file organization
· Provide general administrative support to engineers and staff
· Assist with accounts payable tasks and bill processing
· Coordinate with bookkeeping and office management functions
· Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
· Support scheduling, tracking, and office workflow coordination
Qualifications
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Experience in an administrative assistant, office assistant, or clerical role
· Strong typing, data entry, and document formatting skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· High attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
· Reliable, punctual, and professional
Work Environment
· Full-time in-office position in Fort Lauderdale
