Overview:
Privately held real estate development and property management firm located in San Carlos is looking for a full-time administrative assistant.
Qualifications:
- Must have worked with accounts receivables and understand accounting basics
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Sage software a plus
- Enjoy taking the initiative and solving problems
- Must be organized, detail orientated and able to multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Basic clerical knowledge such as record keeping and filing
- Ability to work independently
- Must like working with people and have a sense of humor!
Responsibilities:
- Verify and input monthly accounts receivable data into accounting system
- Track and follow-up on accounts receivable issues
- Maintain lease and tenant database
- Assist property managers with tenant relations
- Coordinate vendors and/or contractors
- Assist in drafting, organizing and inputting lease documents into database
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Provide general administrative support
- Reply to email, telephone, or face to face inquiries
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail
- Maintain contact lists
- Provide general support to visitors
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
- Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level
- Maintain filing system
- Additional tasks as needed
Schedule: In-office.
Requirements: Must pass criminal background check, drug test and credit check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
