We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our construction company. This is an in-office position requiring approximately 20 hours per week. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and bookkeeping skills and be comfortable handling a variety of office and financial tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties to support office operations.
- Complete post office runs for company mailings and correspondence.
- Conduct bank runs, including deposits and obtaining banking documentation as needed.
- Reconcile cash receipts and company transactions accurately.
- Organize, track, and maintain receipts, invoices, and financial records.
- Prepare customer invoices and assist with billing and collections.
- Enter and maintain data in accounting and company management systems.
- Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks.
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide professional customer service.
- Order office supplies and support other office administration needs.
- Provide administrative support to company leadership and project managers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative, bookkeeping, or office support role preferred, but not required.
- Construction industry experience is a plus, but not required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Experience with Vista ERP or similar accounting software preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local bank and post office errands.
- Notary preferred but not required
Pay: $25.00 per hour
