Administrative Assistant

Job Overview
We are a specialty packaged food company with distribution into the retail and foodservice sector across the USA and Canada. After 30 years in business, we continue to add talented individuals to our team.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fulfilling essential administrative tasks as well as delivering exceptional customer service and support. This position requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to various departments (logistics, marketing, sales)
  • Prepare, file, scan and organize documents and records
  • Perform basic customer service-related responsibilities
  • Assist with data entry and basic bookkeeping tasks
  • Perform other general office duties as assigned
  • Assist with order processing activities

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with computer skills (Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on client satisfaction.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
