The Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of daily business activities at T.E. Stevens Construction. This position provides multi-departmental support—primarily to Human Resources, Accounting, and Project Management—by handling a variety of administrative functions with accuracy and professionalism.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain clear communication across all levels of the organization. From generating detailed reports and supporting employment processes to processing accounts payable and receivable, the Administrative Assistant contributes directly to the operational success of our team.
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher is a plus
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required
3–5 years of relevant office administration or clerical experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is essential
Experience with data entry and maintaining digital records is beneficial
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while maintaining strong communication with all levels of management
Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Capable of adapting to a fast-paced work environment, multitasking effectively, and collaborating across departments
