Direct Factory Furniture is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Administrative Assistant / Secretary to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate customer deliveries
  • Communicate with customers regarding delivery status, orders, and service requests
  • Provide excellent customer service by phone, email, and in person
  • Manage truck fleet maintenance schedules and service appointments
  • Track vehicle registrations, inspections, and maintenance records
  • Assist with office administration and daily operations
  • Organize and maintain digital files using Google Drive
  • Create and update documents, spreadsheets, and reports using Google Workspace
  • Coordinate with warehouse, delivery teams, and sales staff
  • Handle incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal communication required)
  • Proficient with Google Workspace (Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Gmail, Calendar)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Professional attitude and attention to detail
  • Previous administrative, office assistant, secretary, or customer service experience preferred
  • Experience with scheduling and logistics is a plus

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation
  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly
