Direct Factory Furniture is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Administrative Assistant / Secretary to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate customer deliveries
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery status, orders, and service requests
- Provide excellent customer service by phone, email, and in person
- Manage truck fleet maintenance schedules and service appointments
- Track vehicle registrations, inspections, and maintenance records
- Assist with office administration and daily operations
- Organize and maintain digital files using Google Drive
- Create and update documents, spreadsheets, and reports using Google Workspace
- Coordinate with warehouse, delivery teams, and sales staff
- Handle incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately
Requirements:
- Fluent in English (written and verbal communication required)
- Proficient with Google Workspace (Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Gmail, Calendar)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Professional attitude and attention to detail
- Previous administrative, office assistant, secretary, or customer service experience preferred
- Experience with scheduling and logistics is a plus
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly
