Job Overview
Truong Rehabilitation Center is seeking a highly organised and compassionate Administrative Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is a Full-Time position based at our facility in Columbus, Ohio, United States. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our centre. We are looking for a proactive individual who is passionate about contributing to a positive patient experience in a specialised healthcare environment. Truong Rehabilitation Center is committed to enhancing the recovery and quality of life for individuals through personalised therapy and comprehensive rehabilitation programmes.
Salary: $45,000 - $98,000 USD per annum
Responsibilities
* Managing the reception area, greeting patients and visitors with a warm and professional demeanour.
* Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments, therapy sessions, and staff meetings.
* Handling all incoming telephone calls and email enquiries, providing accurate information or directing them to the appropriate person.
* Maintaining and managing patient records with the utmost confidentiality and in compliance with data protection regulations.
* Providing comprehensive administrative support to our team of therapists and medical professionals.
* Assisting with patient billing, processing payments, and liaising with insurance providers.
* Managing office supplies, including inventory checks and placing orders to ensure resources are always available.
* Preparing reports, memos, and other documents as required.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in an administrative or office support role. Experience within a healthcare or clinical setting is highly desirable.
* Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-focused approach.
* A strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality and discretion.
* The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Familiarity with medical terminology or patient management software would be an advantage.
